Herb Rubbed Pork Chops

These Herb Rubbed Pork Chops are a naturally gluten free and paleo meal that pack with juicy and delicious flavor. These budget friendly pork chops are one of our weekly go-to’s.

Pork chops are great to have on hand and I tend to buy mine in bulk and freeze them in batches. You can throw them into a lot of dishes or just have them as your meat main course. They are budget friendly and a crowd pleaser.

Pork chops are also easily dressed up and a simple dinner for a gluten and dairy free family. This Herb Rubbed Pork Chop recipe was the first pork chop recipe I created when I was trying to figure out how to cook pork chops on the stove, because it’s so simple I make this recipe over and over again.

Tonight I have a lot of potatoes on hand that I need to get through, so I am serving them with roasted red potatoes and seasoned broccoli. The potatoes take about 45 minutes to roast. The pork chops are very quick to make, usually 20 minutes start to finish. I wait until the potatoes are half way done and then I start the pork chops.

One of my favorite places to buy pork chops is Costco. You get a huge pack for $21 and you can divide it up into at least 5 meals for a family of 4. Costco tends to have better quality meat as well.

Additionally, I make this seasoning mixture and will double or triple it because it’s great to have on hand. You can use it on pork, poultry and even vegetables.

This seasoning mixture will work for about 6 pork chops, so if you are making more or planning to season your veggies, then go ahead and double the recipe.

  5. You can always take one out and cut the middle to check that it is cooked through.
If your chops are thick then you can add 1/4 cup of broth to your pan and put a lid on the top after you have cooked each side. This helps cook through to the middle without drying out your pork chops.
