Herb Roasted Pork Chops
Pork chops are great to have on hand. I tend to buy mine in bulk and freeze them in batches. You can throw them into a lot of dishes or just have them as your meat main course. They are budget friendly and a crowd pleaser. Pork chops are also easily dressed up and a simple dinner for a gluten and dairy free family. This Herb Roasted Pork Chop recipe was the first pork chop recipe I created when I was trying to figure out how to cook pork chops on the stove, because its so simple I make this recipe over and over again.

Herb Roasted Pork Chops
Tonight I have a lot of potatoes on hand that I need to get through, so I am serving them with roasted red potatoes and seasoned broccoli. The potatoes take about 45 minutes to roast. The pork chops are very quick to make, usually 20 minutes start to finish. I wait until the potatoes are half way done and then I start the pork chops.
One of my favorite places to buy pork chops is Costco. You get a huge pack for $21 and you can divide it up into at least 5 meals for a family of 4. Costco tends to have better quality meat as well.
How to make porkchops on the stove?
- In a small bowl mix all of your seasonings.
- Evenly sprinkle both sides of each chop.
- Heat oil in a skillet and then add the chops.
- Cook on each side about 4-6 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops.
- You can always take one out and cut the middle to check that it is cooked through.
