Gluten Free Vegan Feta Pasta Recipe

I’m sure you have all seen the viral feta pasta, so I am here to create a vegan feta pasta recipe for you that is also gluten free!

This vegan feta pasta bake can be made with regular feta, but you might be asking yourself is vegan feta good? So in this post I will share with you everything you need to make this vegan feta tomato pasta and also let you know what vegan feta is made of.

As a working mom with kids who both have multiple activities throughout the week- easy 30 minute dinners are now my thing. This gluten free vegan feta pasta recipe is crazy simple and made with just a handful of ingredients.

Another thing I love about this vegan feta tomato pasta is that you can customize this however you would like. Think of this vegan feta pasta bake as a blank slate. Adding in additional veggies such as artichokes, zucchini, or broccoli is my favorite. However, if you are not vegan adding shrimp or chicken is a great way to satisfy your entire family.

In fact when I make this vegan feta tomato pasta tonight I am going to add some sausage to make my hubby happy.

Vegan options have come a VERY long way over the years. I went dairy free in 2015 and there were like 3 cheese options and they all tasted disgusting!

As of now I have found 2 feta cheeses and both brands are amazing. VioLife has a feta block and Follow Your Heart makes a Feta Crumble. The Follow Your Heart Feta Crumble is my go-to for this recipe.

Is Vegan Feta good?

Follow Your Heart Vegan Feta is soooo good. I love it raw on salads, but it melts so beautifully that it reminds me of a pasta I used to order from the Cheesecake Factory before I went gluten free. It bubbles, melts and tastes so good! I’ve served it to my guests who are not dairy free and they have enjoyed it as well.

What is Vegan Feta Made of?

The vegan feta I use is the Follow Your Heart Brand (this is not sponsored, although I wish it was!) and it contains water, coconut oil, potato starch, sea salt, pea protein, cane sugar, calcium phosphate and lactic acid.

What ingredients do you need to make this vegan feta pasta bake?

  • gluten free pasta- my favorite is Banza Penne pasta for this recipe
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Avocado or Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt & Granulated Garlic
  • Vegan Feta
  • Vegan Parmesan and Basil are optional
