As a young girl my Ex-Step Dad made homemade Spaghetti Meat Sauce, I loved eating it. I remember sneaking in the kitchen while it cooked. (It would slow cook all day) I would dip bread in it and I thought it was sooo amazing.

I made this in the Instant Pot and in 30 minutes I had homemade Meat Sauce for our pasta that tasted like it had been slow cooking all day. You can absolutely slow cook it but the instant pot gives you slow cooked results in a half hour or less!

Instant Pot Meat Sauce

I had always wanted to make my own Meat Sauce and I was finally up for the task this week. Let me tell you… I will be using this sauce from now on, exclusively. It made enough for 2 meals so I stuck half of it in the freezer.

The coconut sugar is totally optional and I prefer it without. For a more traditional type Meat Sauce you might want to include it. I would recommend trying it with it the first time and then without the next time to decide.

This will be your go-to for Gluten Free Meat Sauce for pasta and lasagna. If you are freezing the leftover pasta you simply need to pull it out and thaw it. Reheat it and serve it over your noodles.

This was absolutely delish! So easy in the instant pot too. The only change I made was to add 1/2 tsp of Worcestershire. I don’t think I’ll be buying the jar stuff any more.
