My family loves chocolate ice cream. When we went dairy free finding a dairy free ice cream wasn’t an easy task. There are many more options now-a-days, but they are expensive and full of unnecessary ingredients that I don’t want to consume on a regular basis. I do buy them from time-to-time, but when we have a craving for a dairy free or vegan ice cream, this vegan Chocolate Ice Cream is the recipe I turn to.

This rich, thick and creamy Chocolate Dairy Free Ice Cream is my families favorite dessert any night, but especially on a hot day. The entire batch will be consumed by the 4 of us with no problems.
You will find yourself using this chocolate recipe as the base for all of your favorites. Add gluten free cookies, peanut butter, chocolate chips, marshmallow and walnuts (rocky road), or even cookie dough.
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan Chocolate Ice Cream
This creamy ice cream is simple, inexpensive and much healthier than anything you can find at the store.
- 1 Can Coconut Cream
- 2 Cups Dairy Free Milk
- ½ Cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 TBSP. Vanilla
- ½ Cup Sugar
In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together and pour into an Ice Cream Maker. Allow it to spin for at least 30 minutes. Enjoy!
If the ice cream is not as thick as you would like you can put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes before serving.
