How to Make Easy Gluten Free Vegan BBQ Sauce
Start by adding all of the ingredients to a medium size saucepan and stir well to blend.
Heat on medium heat and bring to a summer, allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Lower the heat to medium/low and simmer 7-10 minutes, stirring frequently. The sauce will thicken, but this sauce isn’t overly thick since there are no starches used.
You can use this immediately, or allow it to cool to room temperature and store it in the fridge for up to 5-6 days. There are no preservatives in this, so it doesn’t stay fresh like the store bought kind.
You can freeze this sauce and that is what I do! I keep half in the fridge and then add the rest to a freezer bag and freeze it until I am ready to use it! Store in the freezer for up to 6 weeks.
