I love making recipes with CBD because it makes getting your daily dose incredibly easy and delicious. There are many ways to add it into recipes, but CBD smoothie recipes are by far the easiest!
Can you put CBD Oil in Smoothies?
Yes, yes, and yes! Simply use the gold unflavored oil drops and you can customize your dosage based on your needs. The dosage is unique for everyone and is what I get the most questions about. A serving size for the gold formula drops is half of a dropper, that contains 5mg of CBD. I personally need at least 10mg, but preferably 20mg. Start at 10 mg and work your way up if needed. So, for this recipe I used 2 full droppers and I shared the smoothie bowl, however I could have used 2 just for 20 mg myself. In the recipe it calls for 1 full dropper, but you can customize this based on your body and needs.
Its as easy as dropping the oil right in, stirring it up, and enjoying. You can not taste the unflavored gold formula!
How to make a CBD Smoothie
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl, except for the CBD Oil and blend until it is smooth and creamy. Drop the CBD oil in and give it a stir. I like to top my chocolate cherry CBD Smoothie Bowl with coconut flakes and chocolate chips.
The unflavored gold formula is absolutely fabulous and it is my go-to when using it in foods. You can really add it to most things. It can separate because it is oil based, but thicker recipes like smoothies and salad dressing are perfect for blending it in.

Chocolate Cherry CBD Smoothie Bowl
This simple smoothie bowl is the perfect breakfast or lunch to enjoy while getting your daily dose of CBD.
- 2 Cups cherries frozen if possible
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp. ground flax seed
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 full dropper of Plus CBD Gold Formula drops
Add all of the ingredients except for the CBD oil to a blender and blend until smooth. Add the CBD oil and stir.
Top with chocolate chips, hemp seeds, coconut, or anything else.
