Paleo Pumpkin Butter

This simple crock pot recipe tastes like pumpkin pie!

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Apple Sauce
  • 15 oz. Pureed Pumpkin
  • 2 TBSP. Maple Syrup
  • 2 ½ Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Ground Ginger
  • ¼ tsp. Cloves
  • ¼ tsp. Nutmeg
  • 2 ½ tsp. Vanilla
  • ¾ Cup Coconut Sugar

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in your crock pot. Cook on low for one hour and 45 minutes. Allow to cool and store in an air tight container in the fridge. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Can I make this recipe without a slow cooker? You could cook this on the stovetop by adding all of the ingredients to a saucepan and simmering on low for 15-20 minutes. 
  • Is this recipe refined sugar-free? Yes, it uses natural sweeteners. You can however, use regular brown sugar in place of the coconut sugar if you'd like. 
  • How long will pumpkin butter last in the fridge? About 2-3 weeks if stored properly in an airtight container.
