Easy Gluten Free Dairy Free French Toast Recipe
This Easy Gluten Free Dairy Free French Toast Recipe is the perfect simple breakfast or brunch recipe.

- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk I use coconut
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 loaf gluten free bread I use canyon bakehouse or my sandwich bread recipe
- 4 tbsp butter or oil
Start by adding the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla into a shallow dish. A pie pan is my favorite to use.
Whisk it up real good.
Add a slice of bread to the mixture and let it soak up the egg mixture on each side for a minute or so.
Heat up a large skillet on medium heat, once it’s hot add 1 tbsp. Of butter and allow it to melt.
Once melted, add your soaked bread and cook for 2-3 minutes or until there is a nice golden crust, flip and repeat.
Place your cooked French toast on a plate until you are ready to serve. Serve wam and top with your favorite breakfast toppings!
