BBQ Ribs with Paleo Rub

  • ¼ Cup Chili Powder
  • 2 TBSP. Cumin
  • ¼ Cup Coconut Sugar
  • 2 TBSP. Smoked Paprika
  • 1 TBSP. Onion Powder
  • 3 TBSP. Granulated Garlic
  • 3 TBSP. Sea Salt
  • 2 TBSP. Thyme
  • 2 Racks Smithfield Extra Tender Pork Back Ribs

Spicy Maple Dipping Sauce

  • 1 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tsp. Chili Flakes
  • 1 tsp. Chili Powder
  • 5-7 shakes of Tabasco
  • 2 TBSP. Maple Syrup


  1. In a bowl add all of the dry rib ingredients and whisk them together. 

  2. Rub both sides of the ribs generously. Cook according to Smithfield® package directions. Our ribs slow cooked for about 1 hr 15 minutes.

Spicy Maple Dipping Sauce

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and blend. Dip your ribs for a delicious and sweet, yet spicy sauce.

We enjoyed this with some Garlic Corn on the Cob, Roasted Red Potatoes and Baked Beans.
