Easy Slow Cooker Gluten Free Carnitas

This simple yet healthy recipe is Whole 30 compliant and can be made in the Instant Pot or Slow Cooker.

Ingredients

  • 1 pork shoulder roast
  • 3 cups of broth
  • 2 TBSP> chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 can diced green chiles
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to your Instant Pot and cook on the poultry setting. When done take out and shred and then add back in the pot and let it sit in the juices for about 10 minutes and then serve any way you choose.
  • For the Slow Cooker Method you will add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. You can then shred the pork with a knife and fork. Enjoy!!
