Ask anyone who knows me… I LOVE my wine. Having kids just does that to you. I am very picky about the wine I drink too. I’m about as snobbish as one can get on a very limited budget. Don’t get me wrong, I love a delicious bottle of $25 wine… but my budget DOES NOT.
I generally keep my wine under $9 a bottle. Every now and then a splurge is much deserved. I buy 1-2 bottles a week and my favorites are from Trader Joes. I often keep the price under $6.99 but I do not want to compromise taste.
Don’t quote me on this but this wonderful man that worked at my local TJ’s told me that in Europe they are not allowed to spray their grapes with pesticides. Even though they are not certified organic, you are basically getting a pesticide free product. That means a lot to me! I try very hard to avoid glyphosate. So, given the opportunity, I choose European wine. Trader Joe’s is a great place to pick up these wines for a very reasonable price. All of the bottles listed below are $9.99 and less!!!!
This Chardonnay is excellent. They do not carry it all of them time but when they have it I like to stock up because its affordable and delicious.
La Ferme Julien makes a great wine at a great price. I have tried all of them and they are all very good. Excellent for Sangria too.
Yum, yummy! I love this Laurent Dublanc. It is rich and bold but not over powering. Delicious!
This is the same brand as my favorite chardonnay. Its an excellent red.
Bogle can be found it most stores and its an easy go-to. $7.99 is the best price I have found
This was my newest find and I believe it was $5.99. I really enjoyed this light and crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect for the hot days to cool you down.
For $3.99 I was impressed with this one! Not my top pick but I was pretty good especially for the price!!
This Reserve Pinot Noir was rich and full of flavor. It had a smooth finish and was excellent for the price.
