Another month come and gone. I just realized that today is the last Sunday of November and what does that mean- I have to write a new Jennifer’s Journal!
This month has been so insanely busy that I had a few breakdowns. Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning and everyone just stands around and watches. I’m so strong 99% of the time that when I break no one takes it seriously or even offers to lend a hand. It’s exhausting.
Along with the busy I have accomplished so much. You can see now that there are ads running on the page which was my main goal of 2018. I am so grateful for this every day. As a reader ads might not be your favorite thing, but as I blogger we depend on this income to be able to keep doing this. Without them I would of had to quit blogging.
Jennifer’s Journal November 2018
I went to 2 Expo’s- the Portland Gluten Free Food and Allergy Fest and the Gluten Free Expo in San Mateo. I had a ton of fun at both. In Portland I did a live cooking demo and that pushed me out of comfort zone a bit, but in a very good way. I’m so happy I did it! These Expo’s give me the opportunity to connect with you and other brands. I love them! They are exhausting though, so it does take me a little time to recover from them.
We just celebrated Thanksgiving and it was the first in several years I got to host my family in my home. I made an entirely gluten free and dairy free Thanksgiving meal that everyone enjoyed! I made Paleo Praline Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes (Cookbook), Oven Roasted Carrots (Cookbook), Green Beans (No recipe yet), Mama Knows Gluten Free Dinner Rolls, Turkey, Gluten Free Vegan Stuffing, Paleo Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, and a Chocolate Cream Pie using the Chocolate Pudding recipe from the cookbook. Everything was amazing!
This weekend we got a tree, decorated it and finished up the house decorations as well. I am ready for the holidays and I am hoping to find a way to slow down and enjoy it a bit.
One super fun thing coming to the blog starting 12/1 is a 10 Days of Giveaways! Every day there will be a new giveaway for the month of December. Make sure to check the blog everyday for new and exciting giveaways.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you live in the U.S. and I look forward to sharing some awesome holiday recipes with you.
Have an amazing day!
