Chocolate Ice Cream (Dairy Free, Gluten Free)

I have found only a couple of places that we could enjoy ice cream as a family. With a gluten allergy and lactose intolerance it is a challenge. I do love So Delicious ice cream but I often make our own because its healthier and much cheaper.

This rich, thick and creamy Chocolate Dairy Free Ice Cream is the families favorite dessert any night but especially on a hot day. The entire batch will be consumed by the 4 of us with no problems.

My Daughter and I cannot tolerate dairy so having to switch over to a dairy free ice cream was somewhat difficult for my Husband (He is a lover of milk). He would often not love the ice creams I was making but still eat them (because who can resist ice cream), but when I made this I got a ton of praise. He told me this was the best he had eaten.

It’s very easy to make with easy to find ingredients and will please all ice cream lovers, dairy eaters or not.

You will find yourself using this chocolate recipe as the base for all of your favorites. Add gluten free cookies, peanut butter, chocolate chips, marshmallow and walnuts, or even cookie dough.

It is very simple to make with an ice cream maker and the ingredients are few and easy to find at any grocery store.

Ingredients:

1 Can Coconut Cream
2 Cups Dairy Free Milk

½ Cup Cocoa Powder

1 Tbsp. Vanilla

½ Cup Sugar

Directions:

In a bowl mix all of the ingredients together and pour into an Ice Cream Maker. Allow it to spin for at least 30 minutes. Enjoy!
